Rap is Semi-talentless Faggotry.

So, I log onto Youtube, and whats' the first thing I see? A box worth of actually rather good suggested videos? No. A boxworth of absolutely irritating bullcrap. Yes, as the title may suggest 'twas one of those pathetic "Rock sucks Rap rules!!!!!1111!!!!one!11eleven!!!" vids. And because I'm so damn motherfucking curious, I checked it out. Anyways, 'twas one of those rabid rap enthusiasts ranting on about how Rock is all screaming, and pathetic wannabe's.

And for once, I actually partially agreed with a troll. I mean, normally these rabid rap enthusiasts are all "OMG 50$ IS DA SHIT, ROCK IS FUKIN GAAYYY!!! AHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAH." Yeah, 'tis exactly my opinion towards such idiots. That's all they seem to say. Retarded perma-caps lock and all that. But yet, I sat there for a second thinking, maybe this kid is actually semi-intelligent.

Then I swiftly regained sense. No. What's the god damn point in arguing against these idiots, when they're never going to learn anyway. Meh, trolls these days.

So, to be knuckle-grindingly specific, 'twas these two stereotype american black kids, constantly saying shit like "oh, it's satanic." 'Kay. +1 points for no hypocrisy at all, dumbass. I mean, IMO, Rap has gone downhill. And it never was popular in my point of view, even before. To be honest, the Beastie Boys were the only "rappers" that appealed to meh. All in all, they were some of the first to actually start Rap. Alright, perhaps their music vids were epically weird, and simply had lyrics that stood out from their generation. Let's take a sample, 'kay?

Anyhoo, back to the main raging debacle. So you've got these two idiots, posting shit that is not only extremely poorly structured and not even making a, erm... word of sense, but extremely aggro generating. And I know what you're thinking. You're thinking perhaps I shouldn't even have viewed the retarded video in the first place. And perhaps you're correct. Maybe I'm just being retarded about this. But no, I won't let this pass.

The fact is, rock is as equally complex and talentful as some Rap is. Actually, freestyle, as long as it's clean and doesn't rant about the stereotype rap subjects such as sex, drugs, prostitutes and "protecting da hood" can be pretty clever; it's all the person's ability to make up rhyming lyrics on the spot. And I understand that there is such a thing as people judging a genre by their bias, uneducated opinions, that's more of an idiotic hate. Yes, I've seen peeps across "teh interwebz" say that claim Rap is all bad, even though they haven't delved past the mainstream shite. Same goes for rock. Unintelligent idiots, as mentioned before, saying it's all screaming. They're not correct. Complex guitar riffs and hidden meanings aren't talentless, they require pure intellect and, erm...inventiveness.

As the title may suggest, I've generated this blog to mainly provide an outlet for meh agro, to provide a series of rants upon certain topic that I find relevant, from the ongoing war between Rap and Rock, to forum warz. =D
